Decades of Research in Physiology and Pharmacology: Reminders to remember and focus

Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists in India has a long and experiential history. Several decades of research in Physiology and Pharmacology have been increased exponentially in India and in fact it can be considered as “Decades of Physiology Research in India”. The physiology research has tried to visit all the systems in order to study the underlying molecular, cellular and circuit mechanisms. Convergence of Physiology and Pharmacology research is another interesting topic and gets into the heart of a new way of looking at multiple systems in a holistic way.

APPI was planted with a ray of hope and optimism in research in India for the bright and healthy future. It has brought and paved great contributory scientists like Prof. BK Anand, Prof. T. Desiraju, Prof. Bhatnagar, etc. together in one platform. Do we really need to put reminders to remember their contribution and consider it as road map for our future research? Should we recall such memories through this association and pave a way for the focused research?

We welcome Physiologists, Pharmacologists, Scientists, Physicians to APPICON2013 at prosperous city of Bangalore . For any information please email to or call 9845298112

I would like to end my welcome note with this quote “We must welcome the future, remembering that soon it will be the past; and we must respect the past, remembering that it was once all that was humanly possible.” – - – George Santayana 1863-1952
